Job Purpose

To design impactful visual materials, manage digital content synchronization from field operations in Sudan, and support digital and social media channels to enhance World Vision’s visibility, advocacy, and reporting standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Multimedia & Graphic Design: Design compelling visual assets for digital and print platforms (social media graphics, infographics, sitrep visuals, donor updates, and campaigns), edit field photos and videos, and ensure strict compliance with World Vision branding guidelines.

• Content Synchronization & Library Management: Coordinate, synchronize, and fast-track incoming photos, videos, and stories from Sudan response locations; maintain a structured, searchable digital asset library with proper consent documentation and metadata.

• Digital & Social Media Support: Assist in scheduling and publishing approved multimedia content across World Vision Sudan’s digital and social media channels.

• Coordination & Rapid Response: Collaborate with field communications teams to identify content gaps; respond to ad hoc requests for urgent visibility materials; provide rapid content turnaround during emergency response spikes or report launches; and undertake occasional field travel for content collection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia and Digital Communications, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Skills, Experience & Competences

• Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia production, or digital content management within an NGO, humanitarian, or media environment.

• Proficiency in design and video editing software, including the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or equivalent tools like Canva.

• Demonstrated experience managing digital asset libraries and handling large volumes of field-sourced content.

• Experience coordinating effectively with remote or hard-to-access field teams.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for visual detail and fluent written and spoken communication in English (based in Nairobi with regular remote coordination for Sudan field operations).
