Night Manager – Marriott Hotel
Job Purpose
To supervise and monitor property operations, support profitability and revenue goals, and assist with human resources and administrative activities to ensure compliance with operational standards, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
Roles & Responsibilities

Monitoring Property Operations: Ensure compliance with operational guidelines, maintain proper staff uniform and grooming standards, guarantee a safe working environment, and manage all period-end inventories.

Supporting Profitability & Revenue Goals: Review financial statements, sales reports, and productivity data to identify cost-reduction areas; resolve guest issues; assist with accounts receivable and keep invoices due below 60 days; research chargebacks and rebates; monitor cash handling procedures; and manage employee hours.

Supporting Human Resources Activities: Promote safety-related programs and employee morale; monitor attendance; communicate operational procedures; assist with performance management and weekly payroll processing; and coordinate employee relations events and incentive programs.
Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional area.

OR a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional area.
Skills, Experience & Competences

Strong background in guest services, front desk, or housekeeping operations within hospitality environments.

Demonstrated capability in financial review, inventory management, cash handling oversight, and receivables tracking.

Effective interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills to support employee performance, teamwork, and morale.

Thorough understanding of property safety standards, emergency procedures, and operational compliance.
